When He wanted To Be Human Chapter 6

Chapter 6
Planet: Earth
Ryan had gotten Mitch to back off of Lilja. He was quite pleased on how things were going but he still couldn't tell her that he was in a gang and smoked pot everyday. He thought it over several times on how he could approach that. He also thought several times whether or not to not tell her. He had done some bad things since he had gotten to earth. He had stolen money and food. He had also stolen jewelry and pawned it off in school.
He was on a mission to give a message to a rival gang. They chose him because he was the strongest. He had arrived in the rival gang's hideout. He waited behind the trash bin right next to the door. When the door opened he ran in. He was on his way up the stairs until someone noticed him.
"HEY!" The kid yelled. Ryan just jumped from the banister onto him and knocked him out. He continued up the stairs. He walked into the boss, Will's room. Will looked at him.
"I've been expecting you." He said with a grin. Ryan stood motionless. He was carefully observing the man. Then he pulled out a knife. Ryan laughed and went into acceleration mode, but to his surprise, Will was also in it. "Your not the only cyborg from Uksarany." He sneared.
"So?" Ryan said, confident in his fighting skills. Ryan pulled out a knife he ran at Will, but then he disappeared. "What?!" He yelled. Will reappeared behind him. He hit him on the head with a baseball bat. Ryan fell. Will put his foot on Ryan's head.
"My speed is ten times faster than yours." He said. "You act all cool and smug because your fast, but you cant even keep up with me!" Ryan could feel something wet on his head. Blood. It ran down his head and between his eyes. Will hit him in the face with the baseball bat. His nose started bleeding profusely. Ryan couldn't do a thing. Will was also stronger than he was. He bent over to whisper in Ryan's ear. "I will beat you with an inch of your life." He snarled. For the first time, Ryan felt petrified. Will continued to savagely beat him with the bat. Ryan thought he was going to die. He thought of Lilja, and her beauty, and he thought of how Mitch would probably rule her life if he was gone. He closed his eyes. I'm sorry Lilja, he thought. I guess we just cant be together.
Thirteen hours later Ryan woke up in a hospital bed. He looked around. Lilja was standing there. She was crying. He felt no pain, he must have been on painkillers.
"Oh thank goodness your awake!" She said happily. "I was worried you would die." He started to sit up. She pushed him back down. "Stay down. You need to rest."
"Where? What? How?" Was all he could say. He felt so weak. She smiled at him.
"I got my step dad to get the police over." She said. "He's a police officer you know." She stated. He smiled.
"Is he going to arrest me?" He asked. She shook her head.
"No." She said. "He's giving you a written warning. But he says the next time he catches you in gang activities he's sending you to juvie." He looked away. "Ryan, you scared the living shit out of me." She leaned forward and kissed his forehead gently. She sat down in the chair and looked away. "Um…I need to talk to you." He nodded. "I need you to quit the gang."
"Why?" He asked. She twiddled her thumbs silently. This was making Ryan nervous. "Why Lil? Tell me!"
"I'm…because…well…"
"Come on Lilja spit it out!" He snapped.
"Okay jeez!" She said. "I'm pregnant!" Ryan froze.
"What?" He asked. "With my baby?" She nodded. "Lilja!" He said as if it was her fault.
"Hey! Don't blame it on me!" She said. Ryan was flipping out. What was he going to do? He didn't think Rob would let him stay there if he had a baby living there, Rob didn't like babies. "I'm 13 and I'm having a freakin baby." Ryan looked away. God, he thought. Why is this happening to me? He didn't want to be a father yet.  
"Sorry." He said. "I never meant for this." They were silent, not looking at each other. Lilja got up.
"I'm going home." She said. Ryan looked at her. He grabbed her delicate hand.
"Please don't leave me!" He said. She looked at him, then looked away.
"Ryan." She said. "I know you didn't mean for this, but while you were in the hospital I moved in with my step father. When he finds out you won't be allowed near me."  Ryan jumped out of the bed.
"Lilja no!" He yelled. "I cant let you go you're the only one who cares about me. And I care about you, I'm one of the few. Lilja you cant let this happen." She pulled her hand away and walked to the door. She stopped.
Without turning around she said. "Ryan…I'm so sorry. I love you." And with that she was gone.
